- Network Description: Majority of the customers are large organisations from Australia and New Zealand such as Commonwealth bank, National Australia Bank, IBM, Dimension Data, Cisco Systems, KPMG, Telstra and others
- Software and Network services: As for a Microsoft Platform Support Engineer the main focus was on Windows Server Operation System Family from Windows 2000 to Windows 2008. This included setup, backup and disaster recovery, user access permissions, Terminal Services, server security, storage configuration, printing, performance troubleshooting, crash investigations, scripting, various deployment scenarios, clustering and virtualisation

Design and implementation of new technology solutions to support continued company growth. Started work in the company as a Systems Administrator with main focus on supporting the existing environment and later moved to a more senior System Engineer role in the Architecture and Enhancement team developing and implementing new solutions for the IT infrastructure

- Implemented a global internal proxy infrastructure based on ISA 2004. Developed and implemented standardised proxy configuration and performed over 50 installations throughout the company
- Implemented a reverse proxy solution based on ISA 2006. The solution included multiple redundant installations around the globe to enable secure web publishing for external and internal web sites, MS Exchange OWA and SharePoint
- Designed and implemented a standard server deployment solution. This was achieved by creating and maintaining a customised image library that allowed a new server to be deployed within 30 minutes and could be used even without having IT personnel on site
- Designed and implemented a migration path for core servers to work on x64 platform. Included server and application testing to ensure that the new platform can be used at its full potential
- Implemented enterprise-wide antivirus protection strategy based on McAfee 8.0i & McAfee 8.5i. Created a standard configuration for servers with centralised update and management mechanism.
